Pick-Up From Our Gallery:
Your items can be picked up directly from our gallery located at 481 Canal Street, Stamford, CT 06902.
Hours of Operation:
We work with local UPS stores and shippers. We can provide contact info if you ask in advance. They can provide shipping quotes BEFORE the auction.
***We provide in house shipping ONLY on items that fit into the USPS 12" X 12" X 5" priority shipping boxes, domestic shipping only, $40 minimum.***
* Please note, the cost of an item is NOT the biggest factor in shipping costs. It is the time, materials and care put into an packing an item, hence the $40 minimum. We can provide shipping suggestions, or you can find your own, but items MUST be picked up from our gallery by Saturday after the auction, by 6 pm. Storage and late fees are automatically added.
We can arrange local deliveries for items in the NYC, Westchester and Connecticut area.
We have the right, at our discretion and need, to ship any unclaimed items to our storage. Transfer fees apply and must be paid in full before we release the items.

Payment & Pick-Up After Auction:
We are open after the auction until 5:00pm for payment and pick-up.
We now accept payments through our online payment system, Clover. Ask us how you can pay today!
We accept most major credit cards, cash, or checks with proper ID. (Should you pay with a check, your items may be held until the check clears)
*Credit/Debit Card Payments will be assessed a 3% service fee to the final balance due*
Wire transfer is also accepted, please contact us for further details. Transfers under $1000 will be assessed with a $15 charge.
Any items not paid for and/or not picked up by the designated time frame, the Saturday following the auction, will be subject to late fees and storage fees.
No Exceptions. We have VERY limited space and need to set up for our next auction.
Purchased items not picked up within the week after the auction will be sent into storage, any and all transportation and storage fees will be added to your invoice. All items will incur a $15 per day storage fee plus transfer costs associated with shipping the items.
If the item is not removed within 30 days, the item will be reauctioned without reserve in the next available sale and all costs incurred with shipping and storing item will be deducted from the proceeds of the sale.
All auction disputes will be settled by 5th Avenue Auctions, LLC's records and shall be treated as factual and final. Liveauctioneers.com and any other online provider is a 3rd party entity and cannot supersede the auction gallery records.
5th Avenue Auctions, LLC are governed by Connecticut auction laws, and only those laws will be accepted and adhered to.
All items are sold AS IS, where is, and without recourse.
We are open for public previews 3 days prior to the auction. If you cannot inspect an item in person, call or email and we will provide any and all information possible for your review.

Please ask questions if your are not sure about an item PRIOR to the auction. There are no guarantees to the authenticity of the signatures on any work of art, we use the terms attributed to, manner of, or style (of) in our catalog. We will only guarantee the mediums in which works are executed in.
Our in house buyers premium is 25%, and all on-line purchases carry a 30% buyers premium.
